Big fan of the performance channel. Regular viewer of Inside The Actor’s Studio which is fantastic and also Planet Rock which I watch frequently. It’s so good to have something devoted to the best of the arts when there’s so much garbage on the other channels. Keep up your excellent service.

What a lovely surprise to find the new “Performance” after a rather long absence. have laughed at the Ed Sullivan show, sometimes cried at the adorable poetry readings, been moved by the prestigious concerts, Barenboim and others and their star soloists and particularly the other evening, the brilliant performance of excerpts from the Gilbert and Sullivan operettes. The accompanist, Susan Cooke, is a “virtuose” in her own right but, unfortunately, I did not catch the name of the very talented baritone.
If someone could tell me who he is, I would be most grateful.
Many thanks and best wishes for your continued success; am looking forward also to tuning in to 271.
